The Hollywood Girl’s Guide To New Year’s Eve!

Whether you’ll be celebrating in New York City or Los Angeles, I’m sure you’re just as excited as I am to start the New Year and put all your dreams in motion. So I decided to put together some simple tips to make this New Year’s Eve the perfect kick start to your 2013! Here’s how to celebrate one of the world’s most glamorous holidays – Hollywood Girl style:

1. You’ve Got To Dress the Part: My idea of the perfect New Years Eve outfit includes gold/silver sparkly nails, a black sequin dress, and some sparkly pumps to match your nails. If you’ve got a sequin bag that matches, use that as well! New Year’s Eve is the one holiday that we can embrace as many sequins as we’d like and it is completely socially acceptable. In fact, throw some sparkles in your eyeshadow! As for the hair, try a braided bun twist!

2. Stay Classy, Not Trashy: Starting 2013 with a hangover is not the way to go. Why not start the year with a clear mind? That way on the very first day you can put your resolutions into action. If you’re really set on some alcohol, limit yourself to just one fancy cocktail or martini. But say no to the shots, the beer, and more than a few drinks. Know your limit and keep your mind in focus. Who really wants to be the Lindsay Lohan of the party anyway?

3. 13 Resolutions for 2013: Everyone always sets the same New Year’s Resolutions that never end up happening. So set more than one! And don’t set your resolutions too high! For example, try setting 13 small resolutions that you can actually achieve. That way at the end of the year you can really look back and have things to be proud of. Remember that it takes small steps to achieve big things!

And with all of that being said…

Have a Fun, Safe, and Happy New Year! :)

I can’t wait to find out what 2013 has in store for us Hollywood Girl’s…
